No member sidelined
Nobody is shut out of the party, a nomination or a constituency board because of how they voted in the referendum.
Candidate for Central Director · UCP Provincial Board
The referendum is over. Our members are still here, on both sides of that question. I'm running for the board to make sure every one of them has a fair voice in this party, and to keep us focused on our common cause heading into 2027.

Why I'm running
On October 19 Albertans voted on our future. Some of our members voted one way and some voted the other. A lot of people are now asking whether there's still room for them in this party.
There is. We disagree about where the road ends. We agree on most of the road: a fair deal for Alberta, control over our own resources, lower taxes, strong families, and making sure our conservative government can keep working for Albertans.
The board doesn't run the government. It runs the party. I want it to be a party where nobody gets pushed out for how they voted, and where members can see what their board is doing.
What I'll do on the board
Nobody is shut out of the party, a nomination or a constituency board because of how they voted in the referendum.
Local members choose local candidates. Contested nominations, clear rules, and the same rules for everyone.
After every board meeting I'll tell members what was decided, within what board confidentiality allows.
Common ground
Whichever way you voted, if you're a UCP member you probably want most of this list.
Your voice
I'm asking members what they want from the people who run their party. It takes about three minutes.
